Chris­ti­an ad­vi­ses na­tio­nal and in­ter­na­tio­nal com­pa­nies of all si­zes in all are­as of com­mer­cial law. His prac­ti­ce is fo­cu­sed on con­ten­tious mat­ters be­fo­re sta­te courts and in na­tio­nal or in­ter­na­tio­nal ar­bi­tra­ti­on pro­cee­dings. Chris­ti­an has a keen in­te­rest for ci­vil pro­ce­du­ral law and in­ter­na­tio­nal pri­va­te law. He ac­qui­red and de­ve­lo­ped an in-depth know­ledge of the­se are­as al­re­a­dy du­ring his main stu­dies. As part of his master’s de­gree gai­ned in San Fran­cis­co, Chris­ti­an al­so stu­di­ed US ci­vil pro­ce­du­re law and out-of-court dis­pu­te re­so­lu­ti­on me­thods. Chris­ti­an spe­cia­li­zes in com­plex con­trac­tu­al dis­pu­tes, post M & A dis­pu­tes, as well as ma­nage­ment lia­bi­li­ty and pro­fes­sio­nal ne­gli­gence. In ad­di­ti­on, Chris­ti­an has spe­cial ex­per­ti­se in bo­th en­er­gy law dis­pu­tes and pro­cee­dings ari­sing out of me­cha­ni­cal and con­s­truc­tion en­gi­nee­ring pro­jects. Pri­or to joi­ning LE­BUHN & PUCH­TA, Chris­ti­an work­ed for al­most th­ree ye­ars in a re­now­ned com­mer­cial law firm in Ham­burg in the Com­mer­cial Litigation/​Arbitration prac­ti­ce group.
