Ni­co­las re­pres­ents and ad­vi­ses na­tio­nal and in­ter­na­tio­nal com­pa­nies of all si­zes across the en­t­i­re spec­trum of busi­ness law. His fo­cus lies on com­mer­cial law, insuran­ce law and trans­port law. Ni­co­las has par­ti­cu­lar ex­per­ti­se in ship­ping law and in­land ship­ping law. He re­pres­ents cli­ents be­fo­re the or­di­na­ry courts of law and in ar­bi­tra­ti­on pro­cee­dings. He acts in par­ti­cu­lar for insuran­ce com­pa­nies, ship­ping com­pa­nies as well as freight agents and tech­ni­cal con­sul­tants.

Ni­co­las is an ex­pert in the Ger­man law of ge­ne­ral average, and the York-Ant­werp Ru­les, and ad­vi­ses on al­ter­na­ti­ve so­lu­ti­ons to mi­ni­mi­se the risk of pro­tra­c­ted, time-con­suming and ex­pen­si­ve GA dis­tri­bu­ti­on pro­ce­du­res.
