Si­mon En­gels is a la­wy­er and en­gi­neer who ad­vi­ses our cli­ents on all mat­ters re­la­ting to ma­ri­ti­me com­mer­cial law. Ha­ving com­ple­ted his stu­dies in Na­val Ar­chi­tec­tu­re at Ham­burg Uni­ver­si­ty of Tech­no­lo­gy and ha­ving work­ed for ma­ny ye­ars in ma­ri­ti­me as­so­cia­ti­ons, Mr En­gels has par­ti­cu­lar tech­ni­cal ex­per­ti­se and in­dus­try know­ledge.

Mr En­gels’ are­as of ex­per­ti­se in­clude ship­buil­ding con­tracts (ci­vil & na­vy, new & re­pair), me­cha­ni­cal and plant en­gi­nee­ring as well as other ci­vil en­gi­nee­ring, ma­ri­ti­me trans­port law, the purcha­se and sa­le of ships, and pu­blic pro­cu­re­ment law.

Mr En­gels ad­vi­ses and re­pres­ents com­pa­nies in dis­pu­tes be­fo­re sta­te courts and ar­bi­tra­ti­on tri­bu­nals, as well as in the re­view and nego­tia­ti­on of com­plex con­tracts.
